Ontic Sports is excited to announce an opportunity for competitors to go endurance racing in 2020.
In just over a month, a ‘one-off’ Enduro Champs event featuring four x one-hour races will be held at the Australian Motor Racing Series’ Queensland Raceway round across October 23-25.
Entries for the Enduro Champs will soon open via the AMRS website to competitors with eligible Production Cars, X3 Excels, RX8 Cup Cars, V8 Utes, Toyota 86 Series and Mini Challenge vehicles.
“The Enduro Champs will ensure that competitors can get their fix of endurance-level racing this year,” Ontic Sports General Manager, Troy Williams, said.
“Endurance racing is something which is highly valued in Australia’s motorsport community given its heritage.
“As such at Ontic Sports we feel it is very important to ensure this type of racing remains accessible to and affordable for our competitor community, and so we have worked extremely hard to create this event at short notice.
“We know time is short, but with all that 2020 has thrown at us we knew we could not pass up this opportunity to go racing!
“Given the current border closures, we expect this standalone October event will be mostly supported by the local QLD community.
“Competitors will enjoy an enduro format that is well known to many competitors, but at the same time, we are also looking to bring some fresh ideas to the event and make it more competitor friendly.”
Competitors interested in entering the October 2020 Enduro Champs event, or who are looking for more information about the Enduro Champs, should contact Ontic Sports General Manager Troy Williams on 0483 035 466 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
